So... Run Devil Run is breaking up this Saturday. They are playing 2 shows that day. The first one is out in Cleveland & then the second is in Erie - I'm gonna go & rock it at the Cleveland one because Sworn Enemy, Figure Four, and E-Town Concrete (they're good for laughs) are playing. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that no one is gonna care a whole lot.. but this sucks to me - and I'm glad we got to have them down here a couple of times. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on why these fools ain't comin back.
I am still working on booking Most Precious Blood & Nora.. it's going to happen.

Driving home last night listening to Wiggle I started thinking "what's up w/ BW these days?" I thought I hope he still does his solo album and then I started imagining him announcing SW return w/ Vapid and the Jugster. I'm glad to hear that the Solo has been recorded and will hopefully be out soon.
That sucks about RDR. They put on some awesome shows, even though I didn't really care for the music.
Another sad breakup was last year when we found out that Troyl and Lot3 had parted ways. Why do all great bands have to break up?

Indecision broke up in 2000 & I was fucking pissed - they were my favorite band at the time... Most Precious Blood is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better though - I'll probably die when Sick Of It All calls it quits - but with those guys.... i am sure they will notify everyone way ahead of time, and they'll have a huge final show. It'll be great. Shit, I know I'm going to NYC whenever it happens.
Run Devil Run decided to hit the bricks, I guess just because Foose is kinda tired of trying to get all this stuff done, like booking shows, and trying to find a label & shit. Victory Records didn't do much for them, and they could have, seeing as how Victory is worth about $15 million dollars now. Anyhow.. I think there was some shit going on between one of the guitar players & the drummer - or maybe just the drummer & the rest of the band. Their lineups were always weird & no one could ever keep straight who was ever in or out of the band. Shit, Mike Ski from Brother's Keeper used to play bass for them. A few months ago, I knew this was going to happen soon, but I was hoping it wouldn't until late this summer or fall - then we could have hosted their final show, and everyone could have come down from the temple for it because that was one of their biggest things with playing down here. Everyone from out there could come down & it always made them really happy.
Now, I'm out tha do' - gonna go get my tattoo finished off today.
