I agree it was a totally awesome show! Surprisingly I enjoyed 3/4 of the bands. Unearth's sound was real weak, which may be why I didn't really enjoy them. I only caught the last 2 songs of Sworn Enemy but they were really awesome. PTW was really cool as well. "Hot" Erin was my favorite dancer of all, she has some really cool moves. I'm saying maybe 200 people there. I don't know if that is accurate at all though. I hope someone got to win my signed copy of Dre's Chronic album.

Thanks to everyone who came out - it took a lot of fucking planning & tons of work, but it sure paid off. Sorry Ahmed Johnson, but no one got the autographed Dre disc... It's in my bedroom, no one told me it was supposed to go into the raffle. But I will gladly take it off of your hands and bump it.
Since you missed most of Sworn Enemy's set, let me describe it for you: Straight from Sal's mouf' : "Yo! Wassup West Virginia?!?!?! We're Sworn Enemy from NYC! Fuck this place up!.......... I'll rip your ass apart, I'll watch you scream & shout. You won't get a second chance to live cuz I'll tell your heart right out!!"
Yeah, that's what they're all about.
We raised $470 after all the costs to give to Melissa's family.
I can now get my new tattoo started. It's gonna be a Japanese thing from my right ankle to the bottom of my knee. It'll have a lantern sitting on a lilipad on the my shin, on the right side, a Japanese coy fish swimming down the stream, and down at the bottom by tongue of my shoe, there will be some waves from the sea, and the fish will transform into a dragon, which will wrap around the left side & most of the back of my leg. And around it all will be a Japanese scroll that says "Love Is Stronger Than Death" - but it'll have it in Japanese Congi because it fits the overall look of the tattoo a lot better.
After the new ink is done, I'll start working on a new show, I've got a whole slew of bands in mind that I am going to try to book. I do know one thing, I'm not booking The Twirpentines. They sent me an e-mail a few days ago telling me how long they've been together, and how many states they've played in -- what the fuck do I care? And they want a show on January 3rd? Suck it Wang Chung!!! Your band sucks.

By the way, I sent out e-mails to both Rick Ta Life (to book Comin Correct) & Sick of it All.
I would like to do Comin' Correct & Run Devil Run on the same show. We'd have to set up at least 10 tables to hold all of Rick's distro.
Sick of It All on another, they'd probably bring a band or two with them. This would seriously, be the most amazing thing ever.
word.
