I have some news, having to do with the Queers, and the first half of it is bad and the last half is good news...
this is all about the Queers live, but surprisingly, has nothing to do with December the 14th.
Anyways, bad news first: I went to the CBGB streams archives and ... well,... no queers. I looked everywhere on the site and there was nothing (maybe it IS there but I just didn't see it) so, on to the good news, I did a google search for queers webcasts and got hundreds of results about queers protests & marches, and all this national stuff, so anyways I went to a few of the results, and most of them were trash......... but on one, just below the promo picture of the 3 queers, there was a small box with 2 webcast features in it:
1. The Queers live at the Bottleneck 8.4.2000
2. The Queers live at Ogden Theatre 8.5.2000
Much to my amazement, the show I tried actually worked. It's pretty awesome, and just when you think it is exactly the same as LIWH, it branches off and turns into a totally different live queers experience, but no spoilers here.
I haven't tried the Ogden theatre one yet...
All you need to do is register, and to get my real player to start, i had to right click in the window, select Play List, and then select the one that DOESN'T say Digital Club Network.
