Oh,man, sounds like an awesome night filled with emocore,304 brotherhood, hella moshing, and misguided hairstyles... I love the "hockey checking" comment,I always noticed that but I never really made that association. Too bad NOFX Justin couldn't have been there,I'm sure he would have had a real good time with a song entitled 304... but he was too busy taking advantage of drunk girls and then throwing them in the back of the trunk, blaring his Oi! as he drifted down the road without a care in the world.

I can't understand this new generation of scenesters. I mean, they are all just so gay. They look up to the OA diehards and try to emulate them, but fail horribly. I think the diehard OA people are gay, but these bad clones are just real bad. They listen to the real gay music and "dress to impress" like night said. You see all kinds of gay dyed hair and patches and other stupid shit. Also they are all 15. So I go to the show and have a bunch of little kids running around yelling "PENIS" and thinking they are anarchists and stuff. We really need to shake 'em off.

yeah last night was maximum gayness for the crowd in Guy Shelleys... it was quite a turnout: 4 bands, which consisted of 3 bands from Brooke HS + the Failers.
the crowd was somewhere between 40 and 60 kids, I can't really tell, but anyways, out of that figure, 2 were JMers, only TWO were wheeling kids (Brandy and her friend, if you know them) and the rest were Brooke kids.
Brooke kids... what can we say about Brooke kids... man, I have never seen such gay kids. i don't know whether it was the overwhelming presence of Element hoodies bought at your local pac-sun, or the kids wearing AFI shirts everywhere, but man none of these kids had any sense whatsoever. there were kids with bleached hair (a la football jocks) and girls with pink hair and yes, sometimes the pit was down to only 2 kids, running at each other over and over.
the first band that was playing when I arrived was this band called Point Blank, but don't let the Cusack-ish name get to you, the band was really awful, the lead singer had long hair & a beanie & his singing was soooo out of tune! I give them zero out of a hundred stars.
the Failers were up next, and Adam was wearing peds. They all played with a lot of stage presence, which surprised me.
oh yeah, that paper that Domino Effect were handing out said that their new full length cd was titled "304"... hahahah mittle lay? mittle lomosexual? anyways, Domino Effect were horrible, and the lead singer was a punk teenie bopper like the 30 kids who were watching them play. the bassist was real funny, he was scary looking and he was wearing an INCANTATION shirt (very cradle of filthish) ... but they literally took more time tuning than they did playing, we just stood outside and talked to Trick while he smoked cigarrettes, and Hollie, who dylan met last time.

The K and I saw two bald guys wearing leather coats, board shorts, Incantation and Nile shirts, and knee-high boots at the Pitboss 2000 reunion show in Columbus.
